Duro-Last Membrane Roof with HVAC Curb Detailing

Project overview

Duro-Last single-ply membrane with factory-welded curbs at every HVAC unit. Low-slope roofs live or die on seams, terminations, and drainage. We removed the failed assembly, corrected saturated insulation and ponding areas, and installed a single-ply membrane with hot-air-welded seams, prefabricated boots at every penetration, and new edge metal and terminations.

Scope of work

• Duro-Last single-ply membrane with factory-welded curbs at every HVAC unit.
• Tear-off, deck inspection, and repair of any compromised sheathing
• New underlayment and re-detailed flashings at every transition
• Work sequenced so the building stayed open and operating
• Rooftop equipment protected and re-curbed as needed
• Coordination with facility staff on access and safety
• Final inspection, photo documentation, and warranty handoff

Result

The owner has a documented, warrantied roof assembly and a building that stayed open through the entire replacement.
